Olamide Baddo, one of the most consistent rappers in the Nigerian entertainment industry, continues to dominate Afrobeats with his deliveries.
With the release of his most recent album, ‘Unruly’, he broke a milestone for African rappers by becoming the first and only rapper from the continent to reach a high peak on the UK Top Albums list.
The rapper’s recently released project made history by attaining the top four spot on the UK’s Apple Music Top Albums chart.
On August 9, 2023, the rapper had a listening party for his friends and followers to commemorate the release of his album. Some of the most prominent personalities in the entertainment world were there to celebrate, and it was a star-studded affair.
The album has also received a warm reception, as it immediately rose to the top-selling rap album on Nigeria’s digital streaming service. Over a million streams were received by Spotify on the first day following its debut.
