21-Year-Old Lady Raped By Her Employer In Makurdi, Employer Gives Her Family N10k

Benue state activist, Ukan Kurugh is handling a case of a 21-year-old lady who was allegedly raped by her employer in Makurdi. Read below:

SUMMARY OF THE RAPE STORY OF A 21 OLD GIRL IN MAKURDI BY HER EMPLOYER
This little girl was forcefully raped in a car by her employer, the brother approached him (rapist) after the girl was taken to the lab and test carried out was confirmed by the lab scientist of a penetration. The rapist went to the same lab for HIV testing when the brother called his attention to the incidence and he agreed to it saying, he was sorry and the test was duly carried out on him too.

He knew the family is vulnerable (not having) so he took advantage of bringing in a police CID who is his friend and the man confirmed at first that the rapist did it, but later turned to help frustrate the case (the girl’s brother narrated all these to me).

The rapist gave the girl’s mother N10k for settlement but she refused initially, she was only pressured to received the money by some by an elder who knew about it. The mother was indeed wise and kept the money as evidence/exhibit.

Now the rapist is denying ever meeting the girl in any instance even and they on the other hand never reported to the police aside having the test results, since they have nobody to reveal this to or follow up, until yesterday the brother inboxed me. I will call the police man today, the manager of the hotel as well, the rapist, the girl and her mother and speak to them. The mother I am told wants justice for her daughter and nothing more.

Il keep you guys updated on all my movement about this particular matter.

South West Governors Are Cowards – Femi Fani-Kayode Reacts To Northern Elders Advice To Fulani Herdsmen The South-West governors’ response to call by the Chairman of Northern Elders Forum, NEF, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, for Fulani herdsmen to return home if Southerners are hostile to them, has gotten a knock by Femi Fani-Kayode. Prof. Ango Abdullahi had on Tuesday claimed to have received a report of violence in some sections of the country against the herdsmen. “We have heard in the few hours ago that some violence had already started to manifest in some sections of the country against the herdsmen. “If it is indeed true that their safety is not guaranteed in the places where they are residing, we would rather have them back into areas where their safety is guaranteed, and they should be coming back as much as possible to the North” he said. Reacting to the comment credited to the Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum, the South-West governors’ in its statement said it was a ‘palpable trepidation and outrage, and sustained attempts to fan the ember of discord’. However Femi Fani-Kayode was not pleased with the counter-statement and he described it as ‘weak, cowardly, meaningless and nonsensical’. The former Aviation Minister tweeted; The SW Governors response to the call for the Fulani terrorists to leave the SW was weak, cowardly, meaningless and nonsensical. They could not even muster the courage to talk until after Buhari had spoken. Someone pl ask them: are u with the Yoruba people or with Fulani Buhari?
